Romans 2:21

you, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that one shall not steal, do you steal?
Romans 2:21

My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for this thorough examination of my sinfulness and my need of Jesus. Correct in me any unworwthy attitudes and perceptions I may have, and I pray that I may not develop the same self-righteous, unfaithful, hypocritical, religious attitude that Paul described in this passage of Romans, but may I live my life in word and deed to Your honour and glory – this I ask in Jesus name, AMEN

Romans 15:3

For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “the reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.”
Romans 15:3
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that Christ came to earth to become my Saviour. Thank You that He did not come to please Himself but was prepared to say: Thy will be done, even when He faced the cross, knowing that it was only by His death that we can have life. Lord we pray Your mercy on those that have been blinded to the truth by the enemy of our soul and pray that even today, many would come to faith in Christ and discover that in Him is life and light for evermore.. in Jesus name I pray, AMEN

1 Thessalonians 4:16

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
1 Thessalonians 4:16
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for these comforting words and the beautiful truth that we have an eternal inheritance, kept for us in heaven. Thank You that the day is fast approaching when we will put off this mortal frame and take on an immortal body.. and become like You. Protect us spirit soul and body in this corrupt and evil world. Use us to be a witness to the lost and a comfort to the saved.. and may we draw ever closer to You as we seek to to do Your will – to Your praise and glory, in Jesus I pray, AMEN
